NC ra CPN-M bichko jhadapma 10 ghaite. Mugu/October 16, At least 10 persons have been injured when CPN-M cadres attacked in an election campaign conducted by the NC on October 13. The incident took place at Bhi village in Bhi VDC which is 2 days walk from the district headquarters Gamgadi. Injured NC cadres include Jaleswor Dhami, Lila Dhami, Keshab Dhami, Punnalal Kulal of Bhi VDC and Akkal Shahi of Narthapu VDC-5. Situation of Shahi is said to be critical. The five injured CPN-M cadres include Dantya Damai, Tara Damai. According to NC, CPN-M cadres pelted stones when the NC election campaign was being held at the Bhi village on October 13. Meanwhile, CPN-M said that its cadres retaliated after NC cadres attacked them. Details into the incident are awaited as the incident site is far from the district headquarters. Chief District Officer (CDO) Balbhadra Giri said that teams of Nepal Police and APF have been deployed in the site, adding that situation was getting back to normalcy in the area.
