17-year-old Ramita Mahatara, a resident of Jumla Guthichaur reached Chandannath municipality  on Wednesday seeking justice.

Her mother was banished from home with her when she was just 11 days old. She grew up in her maternal uncle's house and after 17 years, has reached Chandannath municipality for her citizenship and birth certificate. 

 Ramita's father, Phurba Chiring Mahatara banished his wife and infant daughter. Her mother eloped with another man when Ramita was 5-years-old. 

Ramita walked for four days to reach Jumla for Jajarkot, her maternal uncle's house.
