Three rescued from being human trafficked to India

Three girls are rescued from Pashupatinagar, Ilam. Three girls from Surkhe, Jajarkot and Rukum were rescued by police who were about to get trafficked to India through pashupatinagar border and Darjelling. Police with the help of Maiti Nepal rescued three girls among them two are of 16 years of age and the other 18 years.

According to Hemraj Oli, Police Inspector of Pashupatinagar, three youths are also arrested who were involved in human trafficking. Arrestees are 22 years Lanka Tiruwa, 26 years Lokesh Taruwa and 29 years Janak Taruwa from Sanni Rural Municipality, Kalikot. A complaint is filed against the arrestees under crime of human trafficking and rape attempt. Rescued girls are reconciled to their parents and relatives.
