Rautahat District Police Office (DPO) on Sunday arrested CK Raut, coordinator of independent Madhes campaign, from Gaur, the district headquarters. The security personnel detained Raut while he was emerging from the Rautahat District Court. He appeared before the court to attend a general date. “We are investigating his activities. We will decide what to do next after the investigation,” said Superintendent of Police Kedar Dhakal. Following the arrest, Raut’s supporters staged sit-in in front of the DPO for a while. तराई मधेसमा राष्ट्रियता विरोधी गतिविधि सञ्चालन गर्दै आएका स्वतन्त्र मधेस गठबन्धनका अभियन्ता डा सीके राउत राैतहटकाे गौरबाट पक्राउ परेका छन् । उनका साथमा अरु २ जना कार्यकर्ता पनि पक्राउ परेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय रौतहटका एसपी केदार ढकालले रातोपाटीलाई जानकारी दिए । ढकालले राउतलाई राज्य विप्लवविरुद्धको कसुरमा आइतबार साढे ४ बजे गौरबाट पक्राउ गरिएको जानकारी दिँदै अहिले जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयको हिरासतमा राखिएको बताए । जिल्ला अदालत रौतहटमा तारेख बुझाउन जाने क्रममा उनी पक्राउ परेको बताइएको छ ।
