Labours of RR Grain Industry of Chitwan has padlocked the factory demanding the increment in salary as per the government's new scale. The factory was padlocked since 5th October. Shivaraj Sapkota, secretary of Labour Association, said as Industry's Management Committee haven't prepared to provide wages as per the government's new policy implemented since 17th July they had to padlocked the industry. 

There are 40 labours working in the industry. Durga Bahadur Praja, President of Labour Association, said the company decided to cut off all the facilities and provide 13 thousand 4 hundred and 50 rupees but we denied. Whereas, Industry's Coordinator,Akaal Bahadur Shahi  said as the industry is in continuous loss, he is thinking to close the industry. Secretary Sapkota commented that in the name of closing the industry coordinator is conspiring to fire the existing workers.
