Chitwan Post: CPN (Chand) padlocks Hupsekot rural municipality

Cadres of CPN (Chand) padlocked Hupsekot Rural Municipality on Thursday (October 4) due to dissatisfaction over the new Education Act issued by the rural municipality. The protesters locked the Chairperson Lakshmi Pandey along with other ward members inside the room where they were having a meeting. According to the Chairperson,CPN Chand cadres left the place shouting slogans after padlocking them inside. Later a team of police personnel from Bardghat, Nawalparasi was deployed to rescue the padlocked members.
