An unidentified group have killed 50 years old Asha Devi Dev in the morning of October 19 according to the police. The woman was living a single life near the District Police Office and her body was recovered in the morning of October 19 according to her nephew NIraj Kumar Chaudhary. The victim sustained head injuries and her body was covered with blood according to police inspector Sujata Tumbahamphe of DPO. Police have confiscated a brick used on killing her from the incident site. The dead body has been sent to Gajendra Narayan Hospital for postmortem. Police arrested four persons in connection to the murder of Aasha Devi Dev of Rajbiraj-6 in Saptari district. Munni Devi Sah, Shankar Mehatar, Suraj Mehatar and Charan Devi Mehatar were arrested on charge of murdering Aasha Devi, said police. Saptari police made them public on Monday amid a press meet.
