A 14-year-old boy was critically injured in an acid attack in Sunsari on Monday. The injured boy, Dipen Pariyar, has been undergoing treatment Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.Police rushed him to the hospital after he was found seriously injured at around 9 pm in Duhabi. The child said that he does not have mother and his father name is Ashok. Police said the body has sustained serious injuries on his face and neck. Pariyar said that unidentified persons poured acid on him while he was sitting near the Duhabi Bridge. Dr Arun Kumar Singh, who is involved in the treatment, said the child’s condition is critical. He said that the child should be shifted to the ICU. It has been learnt that doctors and nurses have been funding the treatment expenses of the child as the police could not find his parents. Dr Singh said the child should be shifted to ICU as his health is deteriorating gradually.Police said that the child is unknown about the attackers. सोमबार राति ७.४५ बजेतिर सुनसरी दुहवीको सोनापुरका गाउँलेले प्रहरीलाई बिरामी भेटिएको सूचना दिए। प्रहरी हतपत पुग्यो। सडक नजिककै गल्लीमा एक जना बिरामी बालक भेटिए। उनी दाहिने पाखुरा र घाँटीमा एसिड प्रहार गरिएको अवस्थामा भेटिए। प्रहरीले उनलाई सोधीखोजी गर्न थाल्यो। उनले आफ्नो घर विराटनगरको हस्पिटल चोक भएको र आफू अशोक परियारको छोरा दिपेन भएको प्रहरीलाई बताएका छन्। १४ वर्षीय किशोर दिपेनलाई तत्काल प्रहरीले उपचारका लागि वीपी कोइराला स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठान भर्ना गरियो। घटनास्थलमा दिपेनलाई भेट्दा केही पनि नभेटिएकाले गर्दा अन्यत्रै एसिड प्रहार गरि सोनापुरमा ल्याएर अज्ञात समूहले छाडेको प्रहरीले जनायो। ‘अब कसै कसैले केही दिनदेखि इटहरीको खनार क्षेत्रमा बालक देखेको बताउँदै आएका छन, सोनापुरमा राति दुई जनाले ल्याएर छाडेको बालकले बताएका छन,’ इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय दुहवीका प्रहरी निरीक्षक रामनारायण माझीले भने, ‘घटना के कारणले भयो ? भन्ने पुष्टि हुन सकेको छैन्।’ अहिलेसम्म बालकका आफन्त सम्पर्कमा आएका छैनन्। ‘आफन्तको खोजी गरिरहेका छौं, तर फेला पार्न सकेको छैइनम,’ माझीले भने, ‘आफन्त नभएपछि हस्पिटल प्रशासनलाई आग्रह गरेर प्रहरीकै हेरचाहमा उपचार भइरहेको छ।’ उनलाई हेरचाह गर्न वीपी कोइराला स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठानको सुरक्षार्थ खटिएका प्रहरी खटिएका छन्। ‘दिपेनको अहिले बच्चा विभागको पिआइसियूमा राखेर उपचार भइरहेको छ। धेरै रुने गरेकाले गर्दा विस्तृत विवरण खुली सकेको छैन,’ प्रतिष्ठानका सई तिलक गिरीले भने। दिपेनले प्रहरीलाई जनाए अनुसार, उनकी आमा छैनन्। बाबु मिस्त्री काम गर्छन् । ‘बालकका आफन्त पत्ता लाग्नासाथ धेरै कुरा थाहा हुन्छ,’ सई गिरीले भने। प्रतिष्ठानका प्रवक्ता डाक्टर पशुपति चौधरीका अनुसार, दिपेनलाई सिनियरले एसिड प्रहार गरि कुटपिट समेत गरेको खुलेको छ। उनले उपचार गर्न भर्ना गदै निकै सिकिस्त भएपनि अहिले सुधार भइरहेको छ।
