A government official who went to collect information for national identity card was attacked by a person in Falelung rural municipality. Nirajan Adhikari was attacked on Sunday night by a local resident who was staying in the same house as Adhikari. Harish Chandra Khadka attacked Nirajan Adhikari with a iron rod in his head right after dinner. Nirajan Adhikari is undergoing treatment at Panchthar District Hospital and his health condition is normal. Harish Chandra Khadka was arrested by the district police office, Panchthar and further investigation regarding the case is on-going.
