Police have bravely foiled an attempted kidnapping of an 8-year-old girl in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan-5 by taking timely action immediately after being informed about the incident from the girl's father.
Krishna Bahadur Pun Magar, father of the girl Helina Pun Magar informed Area Police Office Tulsipur that an unknown person ran away grabbing his 8-year-old daughter on Tuesday evening around 7:00pm. Police tried to block both end of the road to ensure that the perpetrator could not escape. The perpetrator ran away leaving the child behind as soon as he heard police siren. Police then rescued the girl. Police are further investigating to establish the identity of the would-be kidnapper.
