NSU organizes 1 hour transport strike against cadre's arrest

The Nepal Student Union (NSU) staged an hour transport strike in different parts of the country on Tuesday. NSU said the transport strike was organized demanding the release of its cadre Krishna Dhakal who was arrested for disfiguring a photo of the prime minister KP Oli and posting it online.

Transportation services in different places were affected due to the strike that started from 9:00am and ended at 10:00am.

According to Kapil Gyawali, online-news reporter located at Rupandehi, various colleges' units are striking together on Tuesday morning.

NSU also staged the strike in Dadeldhura.
