A Police Constable was attacked by khukuri in Dang on Friday.
Police Constable Chandra Prakash Oli, posted at Area Police Office, Khitalpur, was attacked when he had gone to settle the dispute between the two groups at Shantinagar rural municipality-2.
Police Constable Oli sustained deep injuries on his head, said Police Inspector Daktar Prasad Chaudhary. Similarly, other two locals—Bishal Roka and Nain Bahadur Nepali, were also injured in the incident.
The clash had taken place between Roka and Nepali groups after some dispute, said police. Police have arrested locals--Chandra Bahadur Nepali, 25, Nain Singh Nepali, 20, Suklal Nepali, 22, and Bir Bahadur Nepali, 16 on the charge of their involvement in khukuri attack. Different weapons including khukuri and axe were also impounded from them.
