An unidentified people have vandalized the vehicle belonging to Chandan Nath Municipality. The vehicle with a registration number Ka1Jha1 was set on fire while it was parked at the municipality premises according to District Police Office of Jumla.
Security guard Bishnu Prasad Neupane had informed the police after the incident. He said that an unidentified people knocked his door at night and when he opened the door, he saw a vehicle blazing. The vehicle worth 4 million sustained major damage according to the acting administrative office Gyanendra Thapa of the municipality.
Similarly, a rural municipality office of Gothichaur was vandalized by an unidentified group. Administrative office Keshav Prasad Sharma said that material costing more than thousands was destroyed. He added that the group attempted to set fire in the office.
Similarly, the CCTV camera of the office is also vandalized by the group. DSP Sita Ram Rijal said that he is in the Gothchaur to investigate the incident. Acting CDO Tek Bahadur Budthapa said that the incident is under investigation and reason behind the vandalization is not known yet.
