BIRATNAGAR: An improvised explosive has been found near the party office of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Democratic (MJF-D) based at Tankisbari VDC of Morang on Wednesday morning. A bomb disposal squad from Nepal Army defused the bomb, Morang Police Chief, SP Bishworaj Pokhrel said. It took nearly two hours for the army experts to defuse the Sutali bomb, a locally made strong explosive device. Pokhrel informed that police and army swung into action based on information provided by the locals. Following the incident, security has been beefed up near the party office. “We are yet to identify the culprits behind bomb plantation,” said SP Pokhrel. “Investigations are underway.” टंक
