In what we call a gruesome manner, a man was stoned to death in Tilottama Municipality on Wednesday night.
The deceased is 26-year-old Ashok Musahar of Tilottama Municipality-7.
According to DSP of Area Police Office, Butwal, Shiva Pujan Chaudhary, 22, a village fellow, struck him with a stone over minor dispute that erupted due to sound system issue at a wedding ceremony.
Chaudhary has admitted to have killed Musahar with a stone while they were returning home at night.
The deceased’s body was found in the field by locals and had reported about it to the police.
Police said they are investigating the case after taking Chaudhari into custody for investigation.
