The victim’s party of Parshuram Mishra alias Rikesh, a security guard at Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality-1, have accused that he was beaten to death by 35 years old Shailendra Mukhiya on December 16.

The accused and the victim both had a minor dispute on the after noon of December 15 and Mishra was attacked with an axe by an accused while he was having snacks. The victim succumbed the injuries while undergoing treatment according to chairman Satish Kumar Singh of Rural Municipality.

The victim was rushed for treatment at Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital on a same day where he succumbed the injuries according to SP Rajendra Bista.

The agitated locals obstructed the road and protested against the killing demanding the severe action against the accused.

The search for the accused is undergoing and police has been mobilized for it according to the SP Bista.
