Ramechhap/November 14 The CPN-M cadre Dhyamso Lama, 55, of Gunsi VDC-9 has been beaten up by UCPN-M cadres led by District Committee Member Bodh Bahadur Ghising on November 14. Dhyamso sustained head injury in the attack. He was injured during the dispute between UCPN-M and CPN-M cadres. UCPN-M cadres charged him with batons on his head. The injured is getting treatment at local health post. He received 17 stitches on his head. In the same incident, Top Bahadur Ghising, a village committee member and Palsang Ghising of CPN-M were also injured, according to sub-in-charge Ganesh Bahadur Khadgi of CPN-M. They sustained a bruises and fractured bones. Similarly, Purna Bahadur BK of UCPN-M has been injured in the same incident. The cadres of UCPN-M were attacked when they were in door-to-door campaign during their election campaign. CPN-M cadres were injured in the same incident. Those involved in the incident are at large, according to the police. Police have been deployed in the incident site, according to the district police office. The CPN-M has issued a press statement demanding action against those involved in the incident.
