Cadres of Nepali Congress sister wing Nepal Student Union (NSU) resorted to khukuri attack during a dispute at a meeting on held on Wednesday to resolve the contentious issues regarding the Parsa District Convention of NSU.

NSU deputy chairman of Thakur Ram Multiple campus Samir Ansari sustained injury in the khukuri attack. He is undergoing treatment at Narayani Sub-regional hospital. NSU Chairman of the campus Manoj Sah has accused NSU cadre Roshan Singh of the khukuri attack. Around  100 policemen under the command of 3 inspectors were deployed at Nepali Congress Parsa distrct party office as situation turned tense.
