Ghorahi sub-metropolis has rescued at least six child laborers from various places of Dang on January 1. The metropolitan city is in a campaign to make the city free of child laborers. The rescued children were handed over to their parents.
The rescued children were Resham Rokamagar of Ghorahi-19, Rabin B.K of Ghorahi-13, Arpan Sunar, Yagya Bahadur Sarki of Ghorahi-18, Bhuwan Devkota of Gadhawa Rural Municipality-6 and Bir Bal Nepali of Bangalachuli Rural Municipality-3.
Those children were rescued from various places such as Grilindustry, garages, shoes shops and hotels according to Vice-mayor Sita Neupaneof Ghorahi sub-metripolitan-3.
Those rescued children were handed over to their parents along with Rs 15,000 and stationeries. They were provided with school uniform and managed for the study in school.
Ghorahi Sub-metropolis has rescued 20 children and managed to send them in schools.
