Shyam Bahadur Parajuli,45 an accountant at Sunder Bazar Municipality was intimidated by 35 years old Nabin Kumar Shrestha of the same municipality-2 in his own office room.
The eyewitness Hum Nath Paudel said that he was beaten by the accused on December 31inside his office room.
He was beaten over the issue of tender of medicine that was being purchased by the municipality according to mayor Janak Raj Mishra of the municipality.
Immediately after the beating, the victim lodged complaint at Area Police Office however the accused is at large after the incident according to DSP Yadav Dhakal.
Police said that the accused is being searched. The victim sustained nose injuries in a beating and undergoing treatment at District Community Hospital.
