JAJARKOT, NOV 13 - Four cadres of UCPN (Maoist) have been reportedly hurt after they were attacked by the CPN-Maoist cadres at Damdala of Dhime-1 on Wednesday. Bishnu Malla, Shanta Bahadur Basnet, Sushil Jaisi and Chet Bahadur Rawal were attacked by the CPN-Maoist cadres while they were busy in an election campaign. Although they have sustained injuries to their heads and legs, their condition is out of danger, Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Singh said. According to UCPN(M) district coordinator Tek Bahadur Rawal, a group led by CPN-Maoist cadre Bal Bahadur Malla 'Paurakh' attacked the party cadres in the wee hours today. Similarly, Nepali Congress (NC) Constituency No. 2 President Birendra Shahi has been injured when a clash ensued between the UCPN(Maoist) and NC cadres at Majhkot. Tensions have gripped Majhkot, following the clash , NC district coordinator Raj Bahadur Singh said.
