Nepali Congress sister wing Nepal Tarun Dal on Monday staged a protest rally in Dhangadhi of Kailali against the government citing that the government had failed to control growing inflation, corruption, and had failed to provide security to the people. The protest rally was also organized to pressure the government to fulfill Doctor Govinda KC's demands.

The protest rally started from Chauraha traffic post in Dhangadhi and converged into a mass assembly at Julush park mode. Tarun Dal cadres from all 9 districts in Far-western Province came to Dhangadhi to participate in the rally.
