Two student injured in the clash

Two student leaders have been injured in the clash with police in Birgunj, Parsa. Nepal student union Parsa staged a protest and tried to burn the effigy of PM Oli on Friday and clashed with police. Student leader Bikesh Patel and Ranjan Chaurashiya were injured in the clash. 

The protest started from Thakur Ram Bahumukhi Campus and ended at Ardarshanagar by burning the effigy of PM Oli while police tried to take down the fire, the clash erupted, central member Badrinath Tiwari said. Patel sustain injuries in his mouth while Chaurashiya sustains injuries in his leg. Both the injured are taken to the Birgunj Hospital for the treatment.
