Cadre of Nepali Congress attacked with khukuri in Dhanusha

A cadre of Nepali congress 48-year-old, Umesh Kapar resident of Sabela Municipality-10, Kharihani has filed a complaint at District Police Office against CPN cadres 50-year-old, Shiva Kumar Kapar and 55-year-old Lal Panjiyar for attacking him with khukuri on February 4.
According to the hospital, Umesh who was injured at the head was referred to Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar after treatment was not possible at Janakpur Zonal Hospital.
Nepali Congress leader Bhola Panjiyar alleged that Umesh Kapar, who was returning home after being involved in a program organized by the Nepali Congress in every municipality and village, was attacked by Shiva Kumar Panjiya and others.
According to SP Shekhar Khanal, an incident is Inter-personal and criminal rather than Political. The injured Umesh is the regional representative of Nepali Congress.
Police have arrested local Chandar Kapar and Satish Kapar on the charge of being involved in the incident on February 5. The main accused Shiv Kumar Kapar has been absconding according to Police.
