Rohit Rai, a student of Phidim Secondary School has been injured in a beating of Principal Durgaraj Khatri. He has been admitted to Panchthar District Hospital for the treatment.

Principal Khatri had asked a question about the bending of benches and had beaten students of class 9 on Thursday. According to parents and friends of Rohit Rai, he was beaten again when he told he was not involved in those activities.

Rohit, who sustained injury in the head, has been admitted to Panchthar District Hospital.

According to Nishan Sapkota student of Class 9, the benches were bent by the students studying in Class 10 of the same school.

According to Health Assistant Deepak Adhikari, injured Rai felt dizziness as a consequence of being beaten by Khatri 

Last year, a student was beaten by a teacher at the same school. The student was beaten when he asked about his marks.
