Police arrested 4 cadres of Netra Bikram Chand led Nepal Communist Party from Chhatradev rural municipality of Arghakhanchi on the charge of beating a local. Police arrested NCP cadre Pitambar Pokhrel, Gulmi district secretary of the party Khim Khadka, Lumbinu Bureau member Purna Singh and Jajarkot district party member Shivlal Pun on the charge of beating Bhimlal Pande of of Chhatradev rural municipality-7 Madelchaur, informed DSP Nawaraj Malla. Meanwhile, 4 others involved in the assault are currently on the run. Police are further investigating on the incident. They reportedly beat Bhimlal for refusing to withdraw a case registered at District Court.
