Complaint filed against principal for beating student

18-year-old Janmala BK of Dhorpatan Municipality-8 came to Baglung district headquarter to report that Sanjay BK, a 6-year-old student studying in grade 2 at Namuna Primary School situated in Dhorpatan Municipality-8 Bowangki was beaten by 42-year-old Haridevi Budamagar, principal of the school.

According to Janmala, the principal beat the boy when he lost the money which was given to him to buy recharge chard for her on February 3. 

When Janmala said that they will return the money and requested the Principal to stop beating her brother, Budamagar beat Janamala too.

The victim said that they had informed the police on the same day and had filed a written complaint at Dhorpatan Police Post on 4th February as adviced by the ward office. Janmala has accused the police that they didn't pay enough attention to their complaint.

When the parents and local people protested against the Principal, Budamagar complaint a file against BK family on 6th February in District Police Office, Baglung saying that they misbehaved with her.  

After the complaint was registered, District Police Office, Baglung has called the victim Sanjay's grandfather Chand, grandmother Kali, and his mother Aasmaya to the district.

According to Devkumar Nepali, Mayor of Dhorpatan Municipality, the municipality has provided ten thousand rupees to the BK family as travel expense because of their low economic status. 

According to Dipak Regmi, SP of District Police Office Baglung, the complaint filed by the victim student's family was only heard but no detail information was given and when the complaint was filed by the Principal Budamagar about the misbehave done to her by the BK family then the BK family was called to the headquarters for discussion.

However, on 8th February, during the discussion held at District Police Office, it was found that the principal had misbehaved with the student and his family. Regmi has assured that through the discussion with both parties justice will be done to the victims after knowing the truth.
