20-year-old Jeewan Kumar Yadav was seriously injured in a clash between two groups in Budhiganga rural municipality-1 on Tuesday, according to SP Manoj Kumar KC, Morang Chief Police.

He added that the incident took place due to their old rivalry. 18-year-old Mausam Rai, Sabin Raut, Sujit Hinghag, 17-year-old Subash Nepali of Budhiganga-3 and 20-year-old Abishek Rai of Patharisanichre municipality  attacked Yadav with khukuri.

Yadav is receiving treatment at Nobel Medical College and his condition is critical. He cannot speak. Yadav sustained injuries on both hands and left side of the abdomen. According to the police, Mausam Rai was also injured.

Police arrested Mausam, Sabin, Sujit and Subash, however Abishek is absconding. 

Further investigationn is underway.
