On 20th February, Hari Prasad Sada, member of School Management Committee of Primary School Dhanchhawar situated at Laxmipur Patari-4 in Siraha, manhandled the school principal, Taranu Parsad Chaudhary. Sada allegedly used derogatory language and took the teacher's attendance file on February 20.
According to Chaudhary, he reported the incident to Area Police Office on February 21. He accuses that instead of punishing the accused, the police tried to cover up the case.
Principal Chaudhary said they are having difficulty in resuming the school because of the incident. Due to unsafe environment, teachers are not able to resume classes.
'Principal and teachers have reported the incident to us.', said Police Inspector Shree Krishna Shrestha. 'But we tried to resolve it through negotiation', he added.
