A complaint against 36 years old Nara Bahadur Shahi and his 34 years old wife Sarjan Shahi of Dungeshwor Rural Municipality-5 has been lodged at District Police Office on February 25 on charge of beating 50 years old Devisara Jaisi on a witchcraft allegation.

She was alleged of practicing witchcraft by the accused and the dispute began from there. The victim accused that she was beaten by the couple alleging her of being witch.

She sustained head, chest and back injuries and receiving treatment in Surkhet Hospital.

The accused duo are at large after the incident according to the police and search for them is undergoing.
