Police on Wednesday arrested five cadres of the Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal at Lungsungdang in Phakphokthum Rural Municipality-1, Ilam district. The arrestees were attending a programme held at a local school by Chand’s party. A case would be filed against the arrestees— Ilam District Committee Member Bimal Basnet, Amrit Magar, Bikram Rai, Baba Limbu, and KB Limbu, said Superintendent of Police Madhav Prasad Shrestha.
