Police on Friday arrested 21-year-old Om Singh Rathore of Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-7 Dandapatu on the charge of khukuri attack on 27-year-old Ganesh Hamal of Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-4 Rakchhyachaur.
A group of around 3-4 youths including Rathore reportedly fled after attacking Hamal with khukuri at Tulsipur submetropolitan city-5 Taxi Park. A team of police deployed from Area Police Office Tulsipur arrested Rathore from a jungle at Kharchawa of ward 7 of the sub-metropolitancity where he was hiding. Meanwhile, Hamal who sustained serious injury in the incident was referred to Nepalgunj for treatment.
Police are looking for the others involved in the attack.
