An elderly man was found murdered in Inaruwa municipality-1 of Sunsari on March 4. The deceased has been identified as 70-year-old Ratanlal Yadav. 

According to DSP Gyanendra Prashad Phyual of District Police Office Sunsari, Yadav's body was found tied to bed and bore cuts from sharp weapon attack on different parts. Police suspect he was murdered by unidentified group on the night of March 3. The victim's postmortem was conducted at BP Koirala Institute of Health Science in Dharan on March 5. Police are further investigating on the incident.
