Two people were arrested for assaulting a health worker of the health post in Naukunda Rural Municipality-2, Yarsa of Rasuwa. Fifty-year-old Dawa Nema Tamang and his forty-three-old wife Kita Rani were arrested by police after they had assaulted midwife Neplisa Pun Magar.
Neplisa had served as a midwife in the couple's house on the delivery case of their daughter-in-law. Tamang couple assaulted Neplisa accusing her of taking the money that was entitled to the new mother. A provision states that a woman is entitled to delivery allowances if she gives birth in health centre.
