Suspicious item found in Sabhagriha chowk in Pokhara

A suspicious item thought to be Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was found in Sabhagriha chowk of Pokhara on Thursday morning. A bomb disposal unit of Nepalese Army was deployed to look into the item by stopping transportation around the area, informed Kaski Police. Police suspect, the item was placed by Netra Bikram Chand led CPN's cadres. CPN has called a nationwide general strike today.
