RAJBIRAJ, NOV 18 - Locals in Fattepur of Saptari district held dozens of CPN-UML cadres on charge of distributing money to voters during a silent period and handed them over to the police. The Fattepur folks caught around 50 CPN-UML cadres while they were allegedly distributing money to voters at Sakhubani Tole in Fattepur VDC-5 of the district on Sunday night and handed over them to Area Police Office, Kanchanpur. The locals also caught three vehicles (Ko 1 Cha 7106, Ko 1 Cha 4929 and Ba 1 Cha 5437) used for this purpose. Narayan Acharya, Uttam Gautam, Sushil Acharya, Sunil Acharya, Birendra Yadav Durga Fuyal, Tularam Luitel, and Manoj Basnet are among those arrested by the people on the charge of intending to buy votes.
