A woman who was tied up as animal since one and half years is rescued in the initiation of rural municipality's chairperson. 33-year-old Ramila Tamang of Dhiprung Chuichumma rural municipality-6 was rescued on Tuesday.

Since 28th June 2017 she was kept as hostage after losing her mental stability. After rescue she was sent to Kathmandu for further treatment along with her husband. Tamang was rescued by Rural Municipality's Chairperson Bhupendra Rai together with the help of Police. 

' Seeing Tamang's condition there was not need to keep her as hostage' said Chairperson Rai. Tamang's treatment is taken care by Rural MUnicipality.
