Police assaults three including a driver

A policeman assaulted three people in Phidim on March 19. Tika Basnet assaulted 27-year-old driver of a pick-up truck, Bhim Bhadaur B.K. and 20-year-old conductor Jeevan Lawar for not stopping the vehicle while going from Phidim towards Phalelung.
Similarly, 29-year-old Dipak Phuyal was assaulted later by the policeman for taking a video of the policeman beating B.K and Lawar.
All three victims have injuries and blue marks in their thighs. They received treatment at Panchthar District Hospital on March 19.
