Police have lodged a complaint against Laxman Mahato, 60, of Bode Bersain Municipality-9 on the charge of raping a 45-year-old woman.

The victim filed a complaint at the Kalyanpur Area Police Office, Kalyanpur, on March 24th, accusing the accused of attempting to rape her while she was sleeping alone at the home on March 13. The victim's husband is employed in Kathmandu while her 10-year-old son is studying at a boarding school. According to the victim, her two daughters had gone to a wedding ceremony when the accused tried to rape her.
