Sujit Kumar Yadav, allegedly attacked his 60-year-old uncle Ram Naresh Yadav, a resident of Sonama rural municipality ward no. 2, while he was working in his field. The victim's son accused the perpetrator of attempting to murder his father over an old rivalry.
Ram Naresh sustained injury on his chest and also broke his arm as a result of the assault. Even after 5 days of the incident, the accused is not arrested and he is issuing threats of assaulting him again. According to the victim, Sujit Yadav is a relative of parliament member from Mahottari area no. 4, Dr. Surendra Yadav. The victim adds that because of the political connection, the accused has not been arrested.
