An infant dies after circumcision

A 2-month-old boy has died on Monday night in Loharpatti Municipality-5. The infant son of Ashik Shesh, Firoz, was seriously injured after performing the Muslim tradition of circumcision.
Firoz was taken to Janakpur for treatment. DSP Spokeswoman Khagendra Bahadur Khadka said that the child had died on Monday night while undergoing treatment. The victim's family has claimed that the child had not died due to circumcision.
