Police have arrested 4 persons from Bhaktapur on the charge of abduction. Among the arrested are 32-year-old Dhanlal Shrestha of Kapan Chunikhel and 3 others. Police have not revealed the identity of the others. They were arrested by a police deployed from Metropolitan Police Circle Jagati.

According to the police, the arrested men had abducted 25-year-old Santosh Limbu residing in Changunarayan municipality-9 Tathali Halal of Bhaktapur. A police team deployed following the report that the four men abducted Santosh in a car bearing plate number Ba 9 Cha 1801 rescued him from Bhaktapur municipality-9 Brahmayani. Police are further investigating on the incident.
