Police have arrested 3 persons including Mohammad Naris Rain of Janakpur sub-metropolitan city-15 on the charge of being involved in assaulting and looting mobile phones and gold necklace from 4 locals including 35-year-old Indresh Kumar Singh. A group of around 4-5 persons including Rain, who came on two motorcycles bearing plate numbers Ja 7 Pa 562 and Ja 10 Pa 2095 on Monday night looted mobile phones and gold necklace from Indresh Kumar and his friends by beating them. A police deployed from Hanumannagar Police Post after being informed about the incident arrested Rain and two others while they were fleeing. It is believed that the looting and beating is related to an old feud between the two groups. Police are further investigating on the incident.
