Vehicle torched in Thaha municipality of Makawanpur

An unidentified group torched a vehicle heading from Kathmandu to Hetauda at Thaha municipality of Makwanpur district on Wednesday night. According to Province 3 Police chief Dipak Thapa, the vehicle bearing plate number Na 2 Cha 9094 was torched around 11:15 pm on Wednesday night. Police suspect the vehicle was torched by Netra Bikram Chand led Nepal Communist Party's cadres as it has called for a nationwide general strike on Thursday.
