Dolakha, Maatdaan kendrama Bhayeko jhadapma UMl ka purba sadasya ghaite. DOLAKHA: A group of UCPN-Maoist cadres have attacked UML's former lawmaker Shanti Pakhrin with khukuri in Dolkha on Tuesday. The group led by Bishal Khadka, UCPN-M’s candidate from the constituency-1 of the district attacked Pakhrin. Five cadres of CPN-UML were critically injured in the armed attack. It has been learnt that Buddhi Man Pakhrin, husband of Shanti Pakhrin was assassinated by the then Maoist in the same area. Meanwhile, the group has captured a polling booth at Thulopathal VDC in Dolkha constituency no 1. The UCPN-M cadres have taken election officer under control and pressurised to continue the voting process.
