An unidentified group has set fire on two buses parked by the bypass road in Birgunj metropolitan city on Monday night. Both buses have been destroyed by fire. The fire was extinguished by the locals and the police with the help of the fire extinguisher of Birgunj Metropolitan City. The buses belong to Manmohan Sah of Malangawa Municipality in Sarlahi.
Two months ago, Manmohan took back the two buses he had hired to Shrawan Kumar Sah of Parwanipur Bara and shelved them in bypass road, after Shrawan failed to pay for the buses.
Inspector Chakra Bahadur Malla of ward police office Shreepur said, police are yet to identify the perpetrators behind the arson on the vehicles. Police are further investigating the incident.
