Student Union affiliated with ruling communist party ANNISU and ANNISU-Revolutionary locked up the head of Tulsipur based Rapti Babai Campus, Yuvraj Rawat in his office on Tuesday citing that he had not taken any action at appointing a deputy-head of college close to the ruling party.
The students group had submitted a memorandum to the campus head on April 22 demanding appointment of someone close to ruling party as deputy-head of the campus. Rawat who used to be deputy-head of the campus was appointed head of campus on condition that he would appoint someone close to ruling party as deputy-head of campus. Students protested citing that the agreement was not followed.
