Tek Bahadur Thapa, a petty contractor, has been physically assaulted in the District Administrative Office compound by Raj Kumar Shrestha, a contractor. Thapa has sustained injuries in his legs and different parts of his body. He is currently being treated at the district hospital in Faplu but has been referred to Kathmandu for further treatment.
They had disagreements about the quality of the materials to be used for the construction of the administrative building. Raj Kumar, however, denies of physical assault but concedes that he had scolded Tek Bhadur Thapa for not showing up for work.
