One person injured in sharp weapon attack

A person has been seriously injured in Biratnagar-1 in a fight of drunk people involving sharp weapons. Arjun Poddar, 18, of Biratnagar-1, was injured after being attacked with khukuri by Bijay Ram, 24, of Biratnagar-2 on Friday night. Poddar has sustained severe injuries in the abdomen, waist, and head.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital. After the incident, police have arrested Bijay Ram involved in the incident. The incident took place at a distance of one kilometer from the Morang District Police Office. Police are investigating further into the incident.
