Police have arrested Khemraj Rai, a teacher at Ratmate Primary School in Halesi Tuwachung municipality-5 Durchhim on the charge of assault on principal of the school under the influence of alcohol.
Police arrested Rai after it was reported that he attempted to hit principal Tek Bahadur Rai with a chair during a meeting on Friday about hiring shift teacher.
Mayor of Halesi Tuwachung sent employees and police to arrest Khemraj after being reported about his attempted attack on principal.
